Pediatric Anesthesia Certification Examination
Since 2013, the ABA has offered certification in pediatric anesthesiology (PA), a subspecialty dedicated to the evaluation, preparation and management of pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in operative and critical care settings. It also entails the evaluation and treatment of children with acute and chronic pain disorders. The Pediatric Anesthesiology Board Certification Examination is conducted by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
